Report of the AGM and General Election held on 28 March 2011 (Monday)

Due to the undergoing lecture in the lecture hall, the AGM and General Election was delayed and started at 5pm. There was Q&A session after each speech giver. Mr Jeyendran Kanagarajah our former president was the first speech giver. He described the taking-over procedure is like "knocking the nail into the wall". Next, the former treasurer Miss Khairunisa Yahiya gave the report, followed by the former secretary, vice president of education bureau, vice president of social affair, vice president of sports and finally vice president of student affair. All of them explained the jobs they are involved in and the major events that was carried out throughout the year.

Our former president: "Kalau Tak Dipecahkan Ruyung Manakan Dapat Sagunya".
To enhance the spirit of the athletes in coming Moscow game, he leaded the "tepuk commando".

Finally, the most exciting part of the event today - MSA Presidential Debate had begun. After the draw, Team Arthur goes first, followed by Team Ruban. Each speaker have 5 minutes to conduct their speech. Overall, Team Arthur stressed that they have already made the first move to realize their manifesto like introducing the workshop to students, while Team Ruban has the confidence that with their experience working in the former committee, there will not be any problem for them to handle the events. Furthermore, they will request the tips from the graduated seniors regarding of what we are lacking of. Mala: "With age, comes experience, with experience, comes the ability to lead". Mitch: "We are old, but we still can RUN".

7pm - Q&A session to the targeted team or both team:
Q1. What are the tactics to get all the students' involvement.
Q2. (Team Arthur) How to make words into action? Is it following Heart? or Mind?
Q3. How to get the fund for the events?
Q4. (Team Ruban) Does the team has enough time to be contributed in MSA works as most of the members are entering final year next semester?
Q5. Will the committee carry out the religious activities?
Q6. What are the plans of event involving the students of 1st and 2nd years.

7.30pm - End of debate and the Beginning of the voting.

7.45pm - End of election and vote counting.

8pm - RESULT:
The new KMSA committee is TEAM RUBAN, with the votes of 156 , with TEAM ARTHUR scoring 91 votes and 8 spoilt votes.

Moscow Games 2011 Handball Tryout and Training Session

There will be a tryout, and of course handball training session to select our KSMU team for the upcoming Malaysia Intervarsity Games, Moscow 2011. Details about the events are as following:

Venue: Pharmacorpus Sportzal (Chemistry building) Yamskaya St 18.

Open to all Malaysian in Kursk, session will involve both Male and Female. Whoever interested please come tonight, and bring along your friends.
