Our 1st presenter, Sherlyn Wong gave a talk on Clinical Aspects of Breast Cancer, much to the amusement of the crowd. As she spoke on her epidemiological data of breast cancer, men too, are not spared from this oncological disease.

After about 15 minutes, the teacher’s seat was soon given to Monesh Pillai who refreshed most of the clinical year’s student’s knowledge on the Overview of Antibiotics with its history and interesting facts which we may have long forgotten.

Finally, our last but not the least presenter of the day, Neeraj Kumar, taught the crowd on Basic ECG Revisited with his theatrical and cool way of remembering different types of ECG diagnosis. “Each lead has a story to tell” . ECG handouts were kindly given out by him, much to the appreciation of everyone and learning were made much easier.

Not forgetting our little refreshment session, the carrot cake which we had took everyone by surprise with its delicate and delicious taste and aroma. The aroma kept everyone in the room waiting to have a slice or two of it.

In overall, it was one of the best CME sessions ever held, with a highest attendance of 28 students. We would like to invite you to come and join us in this education program where students can gather and learn together, in a fun way. Anyone who is interested can come forward and present on any topics of your interest. We hope more students could volunteer to give presentations in the future to maintain the continuity of the program.
