Future Doctors™ S2E1-A Summary

After a very long break, the first episode of season two just ended last thursday with what may have been the best serving future docs yet! We not only had fantastic guest appearances but also friggin’ fantastic refreshments. We’ll return to a standard recap next week, but today we thought it would be more fun to go In retrospect a little bit.

After a somewhat lumpy first episode, last year's finale exceeded our expectation on so many levels. For those of  you who either missed that, or need reminding, season one ended with Vigneswaran Kumarasamy, who started off the session with his topic “Operative Treatment of Biliary Hypertension”, followed by Titus Chai Koh Siang with his topic, ‘The Ebola Virus” and Patricia Sii, our graduating senior, who chose to speak on Rheumatic Fever.

This time the show returned with more sense of purpose. Vigneswaran Kumarasamy starts off with Differential Diagnosis of Jaundice, very usefull indeed, next in line was Sherlyn Wong with her insightfull presentation on preeclampsia/eclampsia and finally ATCLS by Thong, who took his time in comparing procedures done in our country and abroad.

All in all, a rather exciting way to start the season.

We would like to thank all those who participated in season one, we hope to see more of you.
