Last week was one of my personal favourites, it was just exceptional. Well for starters, Jack Lim gave us an unique presentation on "Abdominal Swellings", which I found was definitely worth listening to as he painstakingly compiled information from various subjects into one, allowing quick differentials of swellings in the abdominal region. Next, Devandiran engaged the crowd with his “HEART-FILLED” presentation on Heart Auscultation. He played actual audio examples of each and every murmur on the speakers which he also kind-heartedly donated to KMSA for the use in the Future Doctors programme. Thank you very much, Dev!
Besides, before the break, our host, Alan took the opportunity to announce the introduction of a new component to our Future Doctors programme called the CLINICAL CASE CONFERENCE. It's objective is to allow students to develop skills in patient management. The first conference shall be held by the end of November. Details of the CLINICAL CASE CONFERENCE can be found below.

By the time refreshments were served, I was in a good mood and by the looks of it everyone else too. When I thought it couldn’t get any better, our 3rd speaker for the day, Sharmaine Marie spoke on Glaucoma, which was coincidentally my class topic for the next day =P. So I clung on to her every word for the next 30 minutes or so.
All in all, it was a good experience and I would really hope you could join us in the next episode of Future Doctors. You wouldn’t regret it!
