WINTER PRACTICALS

A lot has been said regarding the WINTER PRACTICALS.

The Dean, Prof. Yu.D. Lyashev clarified on this matter today.

(3rd DECEMBER 2009).

1. Winter Practicals would be carried out starting WINTER  2010. This ruling affects ALL FOREIGN STUDENTS.

2. However, not ALL students will be involved this winter.

3. The PIONEER batch of students undergoing the winter practicals are students from the WINTER BATCHES.

4. THEREFORE, students who are currently in:

• 2nd Year 2nd Semester


• 3rd Year 2nd Semester


• 4th Year 2nd Semester


• 5th Year 2nd Semester

SHALL BE DOING the practicals in Winter 2010.

5. For students from the summer batches, there will not be any practicals to be done in winter and summer 2010. All practicals are BROUGHT FORWARD to WINTER 2011. Therefore, students from the summer batches shall be having the usual holidays in Summer 2010.

6. BEGINNING FROM WINTER 2011, ALL FOREIGN STUDENTS (REGARDLESS OF SUMMER OR WINTER BATCHES) SHALL BE DOING THE WINTER PRACTICALS TOGETHER IN KURSK.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

* Winter practicals shall begin right after the NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS (1ST JAN -8TH JAN 2010). Detailed schedule shall be released by the dean's office soon.

* The duration of the practicals is according to the duration stated in the our Practical Guidebook : "CERTIFICATE OF PRACTICAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS - KURSK 2006"

* Each practical session lasts for 6 hours daily.

* The following semester shall begin as soon as the practicals end. Thus, there are NO winter holidays for the affected students.

* Correspondingly, summer holidays for the affected students shall begin the latest by 17-18th JULY 2010.
