How It Came About
The idea of selling Malaysian food in the university cafes was proposed by our Honorable Ambassador, YBhg. Dato’ Mohamad Khalis in a meeting with the Rector during the University's 75th Anniversary celebration.
It was followed up by the Malaysian Student Association where we provided suggestions and samples of Malaysian food to be sold.
Among the few suggestions, cucur pisang and curry puffs were chosen, and the kitchen staffs were taught how to prepare them.
SPECIAL THANKS TO:
FARA RAIVIYA, 6TH YEAR
DAYANG SUHAILA, 6TH YEAR
for preparing the food to be shown to the university officials and subsequently taught the kitchen staffs to prepare them.
Thank you.
P/S: We hope Malaysian students are able to support the sales of the Malaysian food in university cafes so that more varieties could be introduced in the future depending on the response.
