Maybe you heard that horses sweat, men perspire and women glow. But everyone in front of an audience sweats - profusely. Last week’s performance was outstanding and more importantly useful. We all learned something new, the presenters really did outdo themselves this time.

How do you present yourself with power? Don't be fooled by the name. There is no implied power in PowerPoint. Have you noticed how many presenters use PowerPoint and do not have power? Well, Arthur managed to prove that point exactly, last week, by presenting without PowerPoint on his topic, 'Thallasemia'. What can I say? It's old school but it still works!

Our second presenter, Hoe Juin was exceptionally detailed in his anatomical knowledge of the brain with his favourite topic, 'Cerebral Vascular Stroke'. Attention was given to every single scheme that he presented to us, refreshing us, on one of the most difficult yet intricate topic, the brain.

Not forgetting one of our core lovely speaker, Sharmaine Marie presented to us about 'Management of Burns', relating about her practical past experience in handling such situations. Her speech was simple, straight to the point and everyone enjoyed it.

Come join us in the next session of Future Docs, every Wednesdays, 5-7pm in MSA Room, 3rd floor, 4th Hostel.

Do you have what it takes to be a creative speaker? Interested in sharing and improving your medical knowledge with your fellow uni mates?
