Attention to all 5th Year 2nd Semester Students.
- The recent (27th May 2010) changes in our examination timetable is referred.
- The Malaysian Student Association, together with our batch leader Vivek Naidu and group leaders have seen the Dean, Prof. Yu. D. Lyashev today to discuss this matter.
- The news came as a surprise to many students especially when flight tickets have been confirmed after the initial examination timetable was released 3 weeks ago on 6th May 2010.
- Prof. Lyashev explained that the change was due to the involvement of all teachers in the Final Year State Examinations.
- However, an appeal have been submitted to the Dean requesting for the original date be reinstated.
- Among the other suggestions/alternatives proposed are:
- Maintain the original date of the exams (10-11th June 2010)
- Allow students to do the exams as FIRST ATTEMPT in September 2010.
- Allow students to do exams in the cycle or according to "Individual Timetable"
Prof Lyashev says he will try to REINSTATE the original dates of the exams and added that any news pertaining to this will only be available in the evening of TUESDAY, 1st June 2010.
