Sakthiswaran Rajasekar reports:
All good things must come to an end!
Season 1 of Future Doctors had just begun in April 2009, and Episode 1 was outstanding! I can’t believe one year had gone by so quickly. It all started in a hostel room with 3 wannabes, we never expected it to go so far.

The final episode was definitely the most vicious, the first five minutes probably had me sitting with my jaw dropped; Abner Anak Jerip, Joshua Chan and Nirmal Rudd dazzled the audience with their presentation on “How to transform your physique from one which is out of shape, to a much leaner (toned/defined), fit and stronger one.”
"If hard work pays off then easy work is worthless."
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed in the different aspects of this program in spite of the difficult challenges and predicament that we were all faced with. The Future doctors would not be made possible without the contributions and involvement of the host of participants and organizers, whom I think should take pride in their work.
We are also deeply grateful to Abang J, the impact of his leadership was felt and helped maintain the tempo.
Let me try and speculate here why Future Doctor is good and what I think about its future.

I think Future Doctor has revolutionized the MSA, Kursk. Just watch the sheer number of people following it; devotees all over the 5th, 4th and padfak addicted to just getting their latest future doctors fix, to be able to make it just one more week.
At the same time, I’ve met people who have gotten annoyed by Future Doctors. They think that nothing happens, and they get upset that they don’t get any perfectly clear and detailed explanation for anything that happens in every episode.

To me, that’s the beauty of future doctors and its outstanding charm. It’s not supposed to be a "lecture" but a "discussion" - all to cultivate a lively academic atmosphere, where everyone gets involved and the subject is to be dissected and disussed.
The only bad thing about future doctors is probably that it’s not very accessible to new viewers. If you haven’t been following it since the beginning, you’re probably going to feel very, uh, lost.
Do We Want It To End?
The way I’m feeling about it right now, if they keep up their so far excellent work with Future Doctors, I can think it should go on and on. A new and riveting theme every week, something totally different and spectacular to speculate about. Doesn’t sound too bad, eh? Expansion plans? The committee can even consider about breaking it into subgroups like Future Cardiologist, Surgeons, Pediatrician and the likes for more focused discussions and for more like-minded people to gather together.
