SMMAMS is a society under the patronage of the Malaysian Medical Association and acts as its Students chapter. The society serves as an association for Malaysian Medical Students regardless of where they are in the world.
SMMAMS is dedicated to:
- Represent all Malaysian Medical Students,
- Strive for the betterment of medical graduates,
- Promote activism for the healthcare of Malaysians,
- Build the spirit of goodwill and friendship among Malaysian Medical Students.
The society organises annual international medical conferences which is open to students all over the world.
